Creating a Movie Scene

Each group in the project is reading a specific book. Your group will need to choose a scene from your book that you will film.

Creating a scene for a movie involves many components such as research, scriptwriting, and storyboarding. Please go to pbltech.org and find the article on film production. Read the article and focus on the sub articles on research, scriptwriting and storyboarding to become familiar with these terms.

Based on what you read in the film production article, determine the plot, theme, characters, dialogue, setting, and conflicts that your film will portray. Also, consider background music that will enhance your scene.

By October 17th, each groups will post this information for review.

Movies That Impacted Your Life

Choose a movie that you have really enjoyed. What was the movie about - theme and plot? Who were the main characters? Were they protagonists and antagonists? What conflicts were involved and how were they resolved? Was this movie based on a book or other piece of literature? Why did you like this movie? How did this movie affect you?
